What is a User?
A “User” is a member of your organization who can log in to your account. Based on their role, users can create and edit information, collaborate, and update progress in the projects that they have access to. Your plan dictates the number of users that you can have on your account.
What is a Guest?
A “Guest” is a read-only user with limited access to can log in and view the status of projects that they have been given access to. They are great for allowing customers and other stakeholders to view the status of their projects. Guests do not count against the number of users allowed by your subscription plan.
How does the 15-day free trial work?
You will have 15 days to evaluate CobaltPM and are not required to provide a credit card. You will have unlimited access to Cobalt features during the trial and can add as many users as you would like. By the end of the trial period, you will need to select a plan and provide payment information to continue to use your account.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. As needed, you can add or remove users on your account. If you need more or less users than your current subscription plan, then you can change your plan and the changes will take effect immediately.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You do not need to provide a credit card during signup. You will receive a fully-featured trial account for 15 days. At any time during the trial, you will have an option to enter credit card information and you won’t be charged until the end of your trial period.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. All plans can be paid on a monthly basis or you can pre-pay for a year of service for a discounted rate. If you prepay for a year then you get two months free (17% discount). For example, the Small Team plan is $49 per month or $490 per year.
Is there a contract commitment?
No, there isn’t a contract commitment. Cobalt is a “Software-as-a-Service” (SaaS) application and you simply pay monthly or yearly to use the service based on your plan. You do not need to sign a contract and you may cancel your service at any time.
Is this service secure and reliable?
Yes. We offer SSL encryption to protect the communication between your browser and the web site while you are logged in to Cobalt. Your data is securely managed with multiple replicated copies of the data and automated failover protection.
How do I pay for the service?
We offer payment by credit card. If you choose, you can submit your credit card information at any time during the trial and it will not be charged until the end of the trial period. The credit cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Will I be charged setup, cancellation or support fees?
No. Your free trial does not cost anything and there are no additional costs beyond the monthly or yearly fee for your plan should you choose to continue with a paid subscription at the end of your trial.
